Staff Edition · A five-minute checklist for your first day
Use this checklist to get productive at UCDC and avoid the most common account and support mistakes. Open the full guides when you need more detail.
1. Sign in to your UCDC computer
Computer login is UCDC. UCOP is for UCOP web, cloud, and business services.
2. Know your two identities
Most staff have a UCDC identity and a UCOP identity. Use the one the service asks for.
3. Email and Microsoft 365
Work in UCDC Outlook. UCOP mail is forwarded there. Use UCDC Microsoft 365 for Teams, files, and Office apps.

Staff Wi-Fi is UCDC-FGR STAFF. Zoom accounts come from UCOP. Room desktops have the Zoom Workplace app.
At UCDC, staff and faculty join the UCDC-FGR STAFF wireless network. Ask UCDC IT for the current password; it is not published in this public guide. For Zoom, UCDC and FGR staff use the UCOP-provided Zoom account and SSO. Event spaces and classrooms do not have dedicated Zoom systems — open the Zoom Workplace app on the room desktop.
